More Canadian Standouts

As we celebrate British Columbia we also look to those from the rest of the country! McCabe was one of five Canadians women who earned All-America honours in Madison, awarded to athletes finishing in the top 40.

Hamilton native Chloe Thomas placed ninth in 19:43, representing the University of Connecticut. Rachel Forsyth, a freshman at Michigan State University from London, Ontario, delivered an outstanding performance, finishing as the top North American rookie in the race (16th). Third-year athletes Sadie Sigfstead of Edmonton and Florence Caron of La Malbaie, Quebec, also joined the All-American ranks. Sigfstead placed 15th in 19:49, meanwhile, Caron crossed the line 19th.
