BC Girls Performer of the Week: Oct 21- Oct 27

It's time to vote for the BC Girls Performer of the Week for October 21st - October 27th!

As the Zone Championships conclude and the BC School Sports Provincial Championships approach, let's spotlight some of the top performances by BC's outstanding female cross-country athletes:

Ella Fuller - The Grade 10 athlete from Fernie Secondary showcased her dominance in the Junior Girls 4km race at the Kootenay Zone Championships, crossing the line in 15:14 and securing victory by an impressive two-minute margin.

Amelia-Ahn Lou - Competing for Okanagan Mission Secondary, Lou, a Grade 10 student, took first place in the Junior Girls 4km race at the Thompson Okanagan Zone Championships. She finished in a time of 13:43.70, leading a large field of 93 athletes and winning by over 30 seconds.

Lucy Orr - Grade 9 runner Orr from Mennonite Educational Institute triumphed in the Junior Girls 4km race at the Eastern Valley Zone Championships, clocking in at 15:23.29. Competing against older athletes, she was one of only two runners to break the 16-minute mark.

Alexa Dow - This senior from Frances Kelsey Secondary secured the top spot in the Senior Girls 5km race at the Vancouver Island Zone Championships, completing the course in 20:13 and clinching the win.

Sasha Dehal - Dehal emerged victorious in the Junior Girls 4km race at the South Fraser Zone Championships, finishing in 14:48.50. Her exceptional performance led her to a winning margin of over a minute.
