BC Boys Performer of the Week: Nov 25 - Dec 1

This week, we shift our focus to the pinnacle of Canadian cross-country running: the 2024 Athletics Canada Cross Country Championships, held November 30-December 1 in London, Ontario. With more than 1,300 athletes competing across all age divisions, BC's runners delivered standout performances on the national stage. Here are the top performances of the week - time to vote for your Boys Performer of the Week!

Andrew Davies (Senior Men 10K, Vancouver Thunderbirds)

• Performance: Andrew raced to victory in the Senior Men's 10K, becoming national champion with a dominant time of 30:38.3.

Yemane Mulugeta (U20 Men 8K, Ocean Athletics Track and Field Club)

• Performance: Yemane captured the U20 Men's National Title, running a blistering 24:42.2 and winning by 14 seconds.

Arjun Sandhu (U18 Boys 6K, Vancouver Thunderbirds)

• Performance: Arjun surged to a silver medal in the U18 division, running an exceptional time of 18:55.3.

Isaiah Johnston (U16 Boys 4K, Vancouver Thunderbirds)

• Performance: Isaiah rounded out the U16 podium with a strong 3rd-place finish and a time of 13:14.0.
