It's time to vote for the BC Boys Performer of the Week for October 28th - November 3rd!
As the BCSS XC Provincial Championships wrap up, let's highlight the standout performances by some of BC's top male cross-country athletes:
Isaiah Johnston - The Grade 10 runner from Clayton Heights claimed the Junior Boys 4km title in a thrilling finish, crossing the line in 14:18 and holding off a close challenge from Tristan Hill by just three seconds. Earlier in the week, Johnston also won the U16 Boys race at the BC Athletics Provincial Championships.
Miles Graham - This senior from Unity Christian School dominated the Senior A Boys 5km with a winning time of 16:49, an impressive margin over his closest competitor, who finished at 18:19. Graham also achieved a top-10 finish in the U18 Boys race at the BC Athletics Provincial Championships earlier in the week.
Peter Kunka - Representing Summerland Secondary, this senior took first in the Senior AA Boys 5km, clocking in at 16:16 and finishing 14 seconds ahead of Andrew Neill from WPGA. Kunka also won the U18 Boys title at the BC Athletics Provincial Championships earlier in the week.
Charlie Mlotshwa - Competing for Oak Bay Secondary, Mlotshwa took the top spot in the Senior AAA Boys 5km with a time of 15:49, making him the only athlete in the field to break the 16-minute mark. He also claimed victory in the U20 Boys race at the BC Athletics Provincial Championships.
