Ryker Jays of Peter Ewart Middle School tied the meet record in the Grade 8 Boys 200m hurdles with a time of 26.72 seconds, matching Tyson Carr's record from 2019. Elma DuToit of Alberni District overcame a strong -3.0 m/s headwind to win the Grade 8 Girls 200m hurdles in 30.57. In the senior competition, Will Van Schagen secured the Boys 400m hurdles title in 54.89 seconds, while Arden Mathis took the Girls 400m hurdles crown in 1:02.95. Tyler Hvidston was the only athlete under 41 seconds in the Junior Boys 300m hurdles, winning in 39.92. The Junior Girls 300m hurdles final was particularly competitive, with all three podium finishers running faster than the 2014 meet record of 44.47. Lea Vorster, a Grade 9 athlete from R.E. Mountain Secondary, won in 43.13. Tanaz Aulakh-Kahlon and Taya Fraser finished second and third in 43.91 and 44.01, respectively.
The race walk also featured new benchmarks. Maya Piesik set a new Junior Girls 1500m race walk meet record with a time of 6:51.21, breaking the previous record set in 2019 by Olivia Lundman, who went on to win four NAIA racewalk titles and compete at the 2024 Paris Olympics - a promising trajectory for Piesik. On the Junior Boys side, Ty Humber claimed the provincial title in 7:39.92. Livia Fatovic-Spurr of Killarney dominated the Senior Girls division with a time of 8:01.04, finishing more than 20 seconds ahead of second place.
