The Aniamaka Brothers: From Canada to NCAA & Chasing Records

Divine Aniamaka | UW- Milwaukee

Divine Aniamaka, a provincial and national champion, has continued to excel while competing unattached this indoor season. After making a name for himself in BC, he has delivered standout performances on the national and international stage.

  • Pan American U20 Championships Bronze Medallist in the triple jump

  • Broke the Klotsche Center record with a 16.50m jump, surpassing the previous record of 15.75m that had stood since 2000

  • Currently ranks first in Canada for Open Men's Triple Jump (16.50m)

With Praise and Divine as the only two Canadians to have surpassed 16 meters so far this season, the U23 Indoor Canadian Record (16.54m, set by Edrick Floreal in 1986) is in serious jeopardy with the championship season just starting.

The Aniamaka brothers continue to elevate Canadian triple jump. Stay tuned as they push for even bigger achievements in 2025 and beyond.
