Distance: In the U18 2000m Steeplechase, Samuel May placed first with a time of 6:13.86, while Nelle Liefsoens of Powell River claimed gold in the women's race with a time of 7:43.86. Adrianna Buitelaar took the win in the U18 1500m run with a time of 4:34.60, edging out Alexa Dow, who crossed the line in 4:43.50. On the men's side, it was a tight battle, with Noah Louwerse taking the win over Maverik Rahkola, clocking 4:03.77 to Rahkola's 4:03.88. Raiya Matonovich ran 2:09.58 to win the U18 women's 800m, while Louwerse added another gold to his weekend by placing first on the men's side with a time of 1:54.59.
Sprints: The sprinters faced gruelling winds throughout the weekend, with some headwinds reading over -7.8 Despite the challenging conditions, there were a number of commendable performances. Below are your champions through the U16, U18, and U20 divisions.
