BC Girls Performer of the Week: Oct 28 - Nov 3

It's time to vote for the BC Girls Performer of the Week for October 28th - November 3rd!

With the BCSS XC Provincial Championships now concluded, let's celebrate some of the top performances by BC's remarkable female cross-country athletes:

Sasha Dehal - The Grade 10 standout from Panorama Ridge took first place in the Junior Girls 4km, clocking in at 16:08 and securing victory by over 10 seconds. Earlier in the week, Dehal also claimed the U16 Girls title at the BC Athletics Provincial Championships.

Ellyse Dee - Competing for St. John Paul II Academy, this Grade 10 athlete won the Senior A Girls 5km in 21:04, finishing more than a minute ahead of the competition. Dee's impressive performance was even more remarkable as she competed against Grade 12 athletes.

Adrianna Buitelaar - A Grade 11 runner from Mennonite Educational Institute, Buitelaar dominated the Senior AA Girls 5km, finishing in 17:56 and winning by a significant margin - second place finished in 19:15. She also won the U18 Girls race at the BC Athletics Provincial Championships earlier in the week.

Alexa Dow - The senior from Frances Kelsey continued her outstanding season by winning the Senior AAA Girls 5km with a time of 18:32, securing victory by 30 seconds. Earlier in the week, Dow placed second in the U18 Girls race at the BC Athletics Provincial Championships.
