BC Girls Performer of the Week: Oct 14 - Oct 20

It's time to vote for the BC Girls Performer of the Week for the week of October 14th - October 20th!

This past week, BC's young athletes delivered phenomenal performances at various cross-country meets across the province. Here are some of the standout athletes:

Amelia-Ahn Lou - The Grade 10 athlete from Okanagan Mission Secondary took first place in the Junior Girls 4km at the October 16th OCSAA XC Meet. Lou completed the race in 14:05, running at an impressive pace of 3:42/km, and outpaced 18 other athletes to claim the win.

Claire Babiuk - From Oak Bay High School, Claire dominated the Senior Girls JDF Race, finishing in 20:37. She was the only athlete among 39 competitors to break the 21-minute mark. Her performance helped lead Oak Bay to a team victory, securing first place with a total of 10 points.

Owen Wong - The Grade 8 athlete from Sir Charles Tupper put on a spectacular performance at the Junior Girls VSSAA XC Meet at Langara. Wong ran the 5.8km course in 25:19.3, beating out older competitors from Grade 9 and 10. Her win also contributed to Sir Charles Tupper's team victory.
