BC's Biggest Indoor Meet of the Season Returns

The Year is Heating Up at the Richmond Oval

The roar of the crowd. The tension on the track. The smell of rubberized lanes and chalked shot puts. On February 7th, 2026, the Harry Jerome Indoor Games return to the iconic Richmond Olympic Oval for their 14th edition. Over the years, this meet has grown into a cornerstone of BC's indoor track and field calendar, attracting over 500 athletes from more than 40 clubs and providing a competitive platform for athletes of all ages - from Track Rascals just discovering the joy of the sport to Masters athletes chasing personal bests.

The Oval itself, built for the 2010 Winter Olympics, offers a state-of-the-art 200-meter, five-lane oval, a 60-meter straightaway, and facilities for high jump and shot put, making it one of the province's premier indoor competition venues.

Hosted by Kajaks Track & Field Club with support from the Achilles International Track & Field Society, the meet continues to showcase BC's depth of talent. New this year, 60m events for JD12, JD13, U16, U18, Open/U20, and Masters will feature heats and A & B finals, ensuring top athletes face off while providing developmental opportunities for rising stars.
